Summer is a great time to be creative with your kids. Trying to find a fun arts and crafts activity that is kid-friendly may be difficult. But this summer DIY project is the perfect idea your kids will love to participate in!

What you need:

  • Glitter glue
  • Toothpicks or paint brushes
  • Food coloring
  • Picture frames
  • Suction cup hangers
  • Newspaper

How to Make:

Begin by disassembling your frames, setting aside the cardboard frame because it will not be used at all in this project. After you have cleaned the glass and set it inside the frame, grab ahold of the tab hangers and think about how you would like to hang your finished artwork after you are all done with it. Next, place newspaper to cover your work area and begin creating! You’ll need to position the frame so that it is facing up. Squirt glue all over the glass and add one drop of food coloring at a time to different parts of the glass. Lastly, with your toothpick, you may begin blending all the colors into each other and creating different designs and patterns. Once you are all done, allow your masterpiece to dry overnight!

This project is a fun and easy to do with your kids and the perfect gift for anyone in the family!
